This purchase also covers up to three preparatory sketches if needed for feedback and approval before work begins on your commissioned piece. If you require more than one additional round of revisions to the final piece after such point, it may be considered beyond the “scope of work” and could incur an additional cost- the amount would depend on the extent of additional work required to get your vision right (which is the most important part!).
The Artist retains the copyright to all works commissioned by the Purchaser, including all reproduction rights and the right to claim statutory copyright, unless further negotiations have been made (a signed IP release contract may be provided for an additional fee). No artwork may be reproduced or altered without the written consent of the Artist.
In the event that you do not wish to purchase the commissioned artwork upon completion, you may refuse. In that case, a partial refund of 50% would be issued and the Artist would retain the work as well as the remaining balance as compensation for their time. There are absolutely no returns once the Purchaser takes possession of the artwork.
Turnaround time for custom work is typically 2-3 weeks from the start date, depending on the level of detail required and shipping location.
